Zoë Martin initially joined The Black Law Group, LLC as a law clerk in Fall of 2020 and has since become licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Her admission to practice law in the State of New Hampshire is pending and is expected to be approved in the coming months. Prior to joining The Black Law Group, LLC, Attorney Martin worked as a family law paralegal for a solo practitioner in Boston MA.
Attorney Martin graduated from New England Law | Boston in May 2020, where she was involved in the Woman’s Law Caucus. Attorney Martin studied abroad for a summer with New England Law’s Galway, Ireland Program, where she studied International Humanitarian Law, The Hague Conventions, and Transitional Justice. Attorney Martin completed an internship at the Worcester District Attorney’s Office, working under an ADA in the district court. She also studied abroad for a summer with Creighton University’s “From Nuremburg to the Hague” Program, studying the legal aspects of World War II and the Holocaust, as well as International War Crimes.
Prior to law school, Attorney Martin worked as a case manager in Supportive Housing for Families with DCF Involvement, and as a Domestic Violence Shelter Advocate. Attorney Martin also volunteered as a mandated reporter and a rape crisis counselor while completing her undergraduate degree.
Attorney Martin regularly attends Continuing Legal Education classes to stay current on best practices and trends in the law.
